BACKFLOW TESTING RESOURCES
ANNUAL BACKFLOW TEST SUBMISSION DEADLINE IS MAY 15TH.
Properties that already have, or plan to have, an in-ground pool are required to install a reduced pressure backflow
assembly (RPBA) to isolate the property’s water system from the Association water system.
Additionally, residential &/or commercial properties where a potential cross connection hazard has been identified are required to install a RPBA at the 1st point of entry or specific backflow assembly required by the Water Master.
Residential &/or Commercial properties who currently have a double check valve assembly installed (i.e. usually sprinkler systems) and the double check valve assembly fails and cannot be repaired, a pressure vacuum breaker (PVB), or RPBA if determined is needed, will be required to be installed.
Commercial properties are required to install a reduced pressure backflow assembly (RPBA) to isolate the property’s
water system from the Association’s water system.
Additionally, if a commercial property sell and has been identified as having multiple buildings used for commercial
purpose, installation of a RPBA is required prior to the sale of said commercial property.
Lastly, new commercial buildings that plan to use water in the building are required to install a separate master
meter and RPBA.
